Sabancı Executive MBA students win first prize in the #ucuzfikrinyahnisi contest

Sabancı University Executive MBA students Gökhan Çelebi, Selcen Mülazımoğlu and İsmail Sincik won the #ucuzfikrinyahnisi contest held among universities by DuPont to discover and promote innovative ideas. 

Sabancı University Executive MBA (EMBA) students Gökhan Çelebi, Selcen Mülazımoğlu and İsmail Sincik won the #ucuzfikrinyahnisi contest held among universities by DuPont, a global science company offering world-class, innovative products, materials and services to global markets.

The Sabancı University Executive MBA team received their prizes at the ceremony held in the DuPont Turkey Innovation Center.  Prizes were presented by DuPont Turkey Country Manager Halide Aydınlık. Winners Gökhan Çelebi, Selcen Mülazımoğlu and İsmail Sincik won iPads and a two-day trip to the DuPont Europe Headquarters in Geneva and DuPont Europe R&D and Innovation Center in Meyrin, Switzerland.

As the embodiment of DuPont’un innovative approach, the competition was open to all undergraduate and graduate students regardless of department or program, and focused on projects concerning "sustainable food and agriculture solutions in rural Turkey." 

Sabancı University School of Management Dean Professor Füsun Ülengin said, “I'd like to congratulate our students for winning the DuPont competition on sustainable food and agriculture practices in rural Turkey with their brilliant and innovative idea."

Speaking at the awards ceremony, DuPont Turkey Country Manager Halide Aydınlık said, “As a company that has been leading global science for over two centuries, we genuinely support innovative ideas. Last year, we had held the inaugural competition in partnership with Sabancı University. This year, we received submissions from other universities. We were delighted to meet students and hear about their projects. We will continue to hold competitions that support innovative ideas in the future."
