FASS Art Gallery brings together photography, video, digital media, and artificial intelligence with its new exhibition titled “Echoes of Civilization.” Opened on April 9, 2026, the exhibition can be visited between April 8 and 30.
Prepared within the scope of the Global Youth Photography Program, the exhibition addresses the traces of civilization from the past to the present through visual production practices. The exhibition, which opens up a discussion on how images function as powerful tools carrying historical memory, also focuses on the new possibilities that today's technologies, especially artificial intelligence, bring to art production.
The works in the exhibition address the continuity of civilization in time, its current diversity, and its possibilities for the future from a multi-layered perspective. The selection, which brings together young artists from different geographies, invites the viewer to questioning both at the individual and societal levels.
Curated by Cindy Chao, Yoong Wah, and Alex Wong, “Echoes of Civilization” is on display at FASS Art Gallery, showcasing a rich collection of diverse contemporary art mediums.
