Applications for exchange programs in the 2011-2012 academic year began for students who want to get to know other cultures more closely, make friends from all over the world, and experience education at different universities.  Applications may be submitted between the 1st and 28th of February.  The Sabancı University International Relations Office is a good source of information for aspiring exchange students, and helps them make informed choices. Sabancı University Civic Involvement Projects Hatay “Discover Yourself” Semester Project brought together 19 volunteer university students with almost 200 students of the Hatay Altınözü İnönü Primary School and the Erdem Special Rehabilitation Center between January 31st and February 7th. The focus of the Discover Yourself projects has been preserving cultural heritage for the last 2 years.  This year’s project helped the youth gain a closer understanding of the multicultural land they are living in, and helped younger students gain further awareness of the issue.  Children in Hatay

Sabancı University Faculty of Management’s Masters in Finance students will represent Turkey in the European leg of the Global Investment Research Challenge.  The Global Investment Research Challenge is held to support the transition of successful students to professional life.  The Sabancı University team ranking first in the Turkey leg of the competition consists of MiF students Ümit Kaf, Nihan Özulu, Sema Ersan and Aziz Alper Üstünışık.

Outgoing Students: Apply for Exchange for the 2011-12 Academic Year !

In the previous years the English language level of students were determined by an oral assessment. This year language proficiency of students will be determined by a written examination. The exam will be held in the beginning of March by the School of Languages and the exact date will be notified separately.

Placements will be made on the basis of students' success scores (50% GPA, 50% Written Language Test Score).

Visual artist and Sabancı University faculty member Selim Birsel will host an “Open Table” meeting at DEPO/ Tobacco Warehouse where he will discuss his past and present creations at a two-hour exhibition/performance with his guests Ali Akay, Can Altay and Adnan Yıldız.
