Sabancı University Faculty of Management’s Masters in Finance students will represent Turkey in the European leg of the Global Investment Research Challenge. The Global Investment Research Challenge is held to support the transition of successful students to professional life. The Sabancı University team ranking first in the Turkey leg of the competition consists of MiF students Ümit Kaf, Nihan Özulu, Sema Ersan and Aziz Alper Üstünışık.

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management has found a partner in the Middle East. After looking at several schools in the region, M.I.T. selected Sabanci School of Management in Turkey for a partner program that involves joint research and will also connect M.I.T students with local internships, says S.P. Kothari, deputy dean at Sloan.

"The International Educational Technology Conference (IETC)" series is an international educational activity for academics, teachers and educators. This conference is now a well known educational technology event and the number of paper submissions and attendees increase every year. It promotes the development and dissemination of theoretical knowledge, conceptual research, and professional knowledge through conference activities, theconference proceeding book, and the Turkish Online Journal of Educational Technology (TOJET).

In the previous years the English language level of students were determined by an oral assessment. This year language proficiency of students will be determined by a written examination. The exam will be held in the beginning of March by the School of Languages and the exact date will be notified separately.
Placements will be made on the basis of students' success scores (50% GPA, 50% Written Language Test Score).
