Sabancı University Maintains Top Rank in Research Performance

The Council of Higher Education (YÖK) announced its 2025 Research University Performance Rankings. Sabancı University ranked second in Türkiye, demonstrating strong performance in Research Capacity, Research Quality, and Collaboration. Thus, our university maintained its ranking from last year, once again confirming its leading position in Türkiye's research ecosystem.

 

 

Stable and Strong Achievement in Research Capacity

In this comprehensive assessment, Sabancı University ranked first in Türkiye in the Research Capacity category. This category, which encompasses the number of scientific publications and citations, the number and volume of national and international projects, and national and international intellectual property outputs, distinguishes Sabancı University as Türkiye's highest-performing research institution.

In last year's performance results, our university achieved significant success, having the highest scores among all universities, particularly in research quality and collaboration and interaction.
