ANT Systems, one of Sabancı University's Inovent portfolio companies, stands out as one of the most striking success stories where the university's strong scientific infrastructure and entrepreneurial ecosystem come together.
Prof. Dr. Yusuf Menceloğlu's scientific leadership and academic collaborations with Prof. Dr. İsmail Çakmak constitute ANT Systems' scientific strength. This strength, combined with the entrepreneurial vision of Can Yurdakul, a 2008 Sabancı University graduate and the company's CEO, is transforming into a global deep technology company that conducts R&D studies on nanotechnology applications in agriculture and has the capability to produce the technologies it develops with a factory investment of 3,000 tons per year, scheduled to open in March 2026.
Blending science and entrepreneurship, this vision has transformed into a robust patent commercialization model under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Yusuf Menceloğlu and our graduate MSc. Can Yurdakul, showcasing one of the most concrete and successful examples of university-alumni collaboration.
Giving Success Back to the University
ANT Systems' story is not limited to commercial success; it is also shaped by a sense of belonging and responsibility towards Sabancı University. The ANT Systems team, entirely composed of Sabancı University alumni and academic staff, transformed this approach into social impact by providing financial support to the Sabancı University "Make a Promise for the Future Scholarship Fund."
Thanks to these donations, 18 Sabancı University undergraduate students have been provided with monthly cash needs scholarships, helping them continue their education with greater confidence.
