EDU on Financial Times Executive Education-Customised Programs Rankings

The Sabancı University Executive Development Unit EDU entered the Financial Times “Executive Education - Customised Programs” world rankings at 78th place!

Of the more than 800 schools carrying AACSB or EQUIS accreditation worldwide, only 90 schools were included in the “Executive Education-Customized” rankings, and the first and only Turkish entrant of the list was Sabancı University.

Financial Times uses information on the activities of the entrant and collects surveys from institutions served by the entrant to reach a conclusion. The criteria for assessment by corporate clients include preparation, program design, faculty, new skills and learning, teaching methods, follow-up, aims achieved, facilities, value for money, and future use. Other criteria are international clients, overseas programs, growth, partner schools, and faculty diversity.

Commenting on the issue, EDU Director Cüneyt Evirgen emphasized that their success was due to being unique and customized, referring to the value created by EDU with its unique approach and practices in business models, cooperation, learning partnerships, corporate academies, and modular programs for 16 years. Evirgen continued, “We will continue our work to improve the global position of our university and reinforce our leadership through sustainable and permanent success. We strive to take the bar even higher.  We hope to be included in the FT “Executive Education Open Programs” world rankings in a few years with the open trainings and certificate programs initiated this year."
