The EFSUN SABANCI Frontiers in Material Surfaces and Interfaces Workshop was held at the Biotechnology Institute-Gebze Technical University on June 12, 2024. The workshop brought many students, experts, engineers and researchers from various disciplines together thanks to its rich content.
It was organized by Prof. Emre Erdem, Prof. Elif Damla Arisan, Prof. Ali Koşar and Prof. Burc Misirlioglu. The invited speakers, namely Banu İyisan, Z. Banu Bahsi, Damla Eroglu, Morteza Ghorbani, Gamze Gediz Ilis, Yasemin Tabak Mustafa Kemal Bayazıt, Rumeysa Tutar, Merve Mocan, provided participants the opportunity to learn from experts on functional surfaces, interfaces and their applications, stay informed of latest developments.
The workshop also covered a poster competition for young researchers and students. Banu Bahşi, Yasemin Tabak and Mustafa Kemal Bayazıt acted as Selection Committee Members in this competition. The organizers were glad to see that all the participants enjoyed this event and thank for great attention and participation.
