Google Arts & Culture – Online Exhibitions

You can access the images of and extensive information on the works of art in Sakıp Sabancı Museum’s permanent collections, as well as the online exhibitions compiled from these collections on our Google Arts & Culture page. The platform features three online exhibitions on Abidin Dino composed of works and documents from the Museum’s Painting Collection and Abidin Dino Archive, focusing on the artist’s life and works as a filmmaker and stage designer, and the Illuminated Korans exhibition presenting items from The Arts of the Book and Calligraphy Collection. You can also take a virtual tour of the Museum with Google’s 360° street view technology on this page.

 

 

digitalSSM

Sakıp Sabancı Museum launched the project digitalSSM in 2013, as part of its efforts to transfer its cultural resources to the digital platform. digitalSSM enables academicians and researchers from all over the world to access the Museum’s collections and archives online free of charge and features extensive content regarding past exhibitions.
