The Gender and Cinema Seminars 2025 Spring Program organized by SU Gender is beginning. The seminars to be held every Saturday for 5 weeks between April 26 and May 24, 2025 at Karaköy Minerva Han will address the relationship between gender and cinema.
The seminars to be given by academics from Sabancı University and other institutions will address topics such as the development of feminist cinema theory, how gender is shaped in cinema narrative, and how gender structures reinforce or question gender inequalities, and will be conducted through selected movies and directors, and the reflections of gender in cinema will be evaluated from different perspectives. The seminars are open to everyone.

- Participation is subject to a fee.

- At the end of the program, participants who have attended at least 4 sessions will be given a participation certificate.
