Sabancı University Theater Club (SUO) has been awarded a grant of 100,000 TL from the Ministry of Youth and Sports for a “Children's Play Project” for students in the earthquake zone under the University Communities and Cooperation Support Program.
In the scope of the project, Sabancı University Theater Club students will be touring the children's play “Garden of Dreams” to bring theater to children in the earthquake zone. SUO aims to raise children's awareness of social sensitivity through art and at the same time bring theater to places where theater cannot reach. Our club will visit three cities in the earthquake zone (Adıyaman, Kahramanmaraş and Hatay) and invite children to the “Garden of Dreams” by playing the game two to three times a day.
