Grant Support from the European Commission for the Project of our FASS Faculty Member Fatih Serkant Adıgüzel

The project entitled "VALPOP- Valuing Public Goods in a Populist World: A Comparative Analysis of Network Dynamics and Societal Outcomes", in which Sabancı University Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Faculty Member Fatih Serkant Adıgüzel participates as a researcher, has been deemed entitled to support from the European Commission within the scope of the Horizon Europe Program.

The project, which has a total budget of 2,994,425 Euros, will involve research on how the rule of law and populism affect the creation and distribution of public goods by social actors. Researchers in the consortium consisting of nine partners, eight of which are from different countries, under the coordination of Innsbruck University, will carry out the VALPOP project, which was submitted to the HORIZON-CL2-2024-DEMOCRACY-01-03 call within the scope of the Horizon Europe Program, for 48 months.

Project consortium members include Universitaet Innsbruck (Austria), Copenhagen Business School (Denmark), Wirtschaftsuniversitat Wien (Austria), Akademia Leona Kozminskiego (Poland), Sabancı University (Turkey), Rheinisch-Westfaelische Technische Hochschule (Germany), Luiss Libera Universita Internazionale Degli Studi (Italy), Auckland University of Technology (New Zealand) and In-Jet Aps (Denmark).
