Sabanci Business School is set to host an important academic event. The Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management (JPSM) Paper Development Workshop (PDW), organized in collaboration with the International Purchasing and Supply Education and Research Association (IPSERA), will take place on February 10, 2025. This workshop will provide researchers in Turkiye with an opportunity to enhance their articles and prepare them for publication in prestigious academic journals.
JPSM, a high-impact journal in the field of Operations and Supply Chain Management, primarily publishes empirical research, contributing to both theoretical and practical advancements. The workshop will be structured into two main sessions:
Session 1:
The morning sessions will focus on the core principles of academic writing and the publication process. Presentations will cover topics such as writing the “Introduction” section of an article, effectively defining the research problem, and navigating the submission and review processes for top-tier journals.
Session 2:
The afternoon will be dedicated to roundtable discussions. Participants will have the chance to receive detailed feedback work-in-progress articles from JPSM Editors Carmela Di Mauro and Steven Carnovale, IPSERA President Leonardo Marques, and JPSM Associate Editor and Sabancı Business School faculty member Melek Akın Ateş.
