After 17 sailing trips, Su-Sail has become the first Turkish university club to sail foreign seas.

The first preparations for the trip, held between October 19th-27th in Southern Dalmatian Islands, date back to the European University Cup in May 2007.

The Brookings Institution in Washington DC and United Nations Academic Impact UNAI launched the global contest, inviting the students around the world to imagine a speech that would be made by the Secretary-General at the opening of the next session of the General Assembly. The contest aimed to encourage interested students and future leaders with the opportunity to demonstrate innovative thinking on responsibilities and rights involved in solving global problems together in a shared culture of intellectual social responsibility.

The new Football Field qualified in FIFA standards will be launched on Tuesday November 6.2012.

The home opener between SU football team and SU Alumni football team will start with the first kick by Abdullah Avcı, the Turkish National Football Team coach.

You can also enjoy a freestyle football show before the opener.

Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Nihat Ergün: “Sabancı University ranks first on the University Entrepreneurship and Innovation Index.”

For the first time in Turkey, a “University Entrepreneurship and Innovation Index” has been compiled and announced at a press conference by Nihat Ergün, the Minister of Science, Industry and Technology.  Sabancı University ranks first among the most entrepreneurial and innovative universities in Turkey.

U.S. college students will study contemporary Turkey at Istanbul’s Sabanci University, one of the country’s leading research schools, as part of the new Study Turkey Program

The Sabancı University International Board of Overseers, composed of 12 global business and academic leaders, held its annual meeting in Istanbul.

As part of the Sabancı University International Board of Overseers meeting, a conference titled “Two Perspectives on Research in the Context of the Rise of Asia” was held on Wednesday, October 3rd at the Seed hosted by the Sabancı University Alumni Association – SUMED.
