The review article titled as "Tumor suppressor genes and ROS: complex networks of interactions" by Vurusaner Beyza; Poli Giuseppe; Basaga Huveyda is published in Free Radical Biology and Medicine, 2012 Jan 1;52(1):7-18.

In a little while, the article ranked 6th in the list of the most downloaded Free Radical Biology and Medicine articles from ScienceDirect.

Halil Şen, our PhD student in the Industrial Engineering Program, was awarded the third place with his paper "A Simple, Fast, and Effective Heuristic for the Single-Machine Total Weighted Tardiness Problem" in the student paper competition at the 13th International Conference on Project Managament and Scheduling (PMS 2012). The conference is one of the premier meetings with a long-standing tradition in his field and was held in Leuven, Belgium during April 1-4.

Jyrki Katainen will visit our campus
Jyrki Katainen, The Prime Minister of Finland, will visit our campus on April 19, 15.45-16.45, for a talk on "The Finnish View on European Economic Perspectives and EU-Turkey Relations" followed by a Q&A session.
