Sabancı University, which has achieved numerous successes in Turkey and around the world, will organize "Promotion Days" for the Higher Education Examination (2024-YKS) preference period between July 16 and August 2, 2024. Promotion days, which aim to inform candidates and their families who will make their university choice in the next academic year and to provide detailed information about our university, will be held physically at the University's Tuzla Campus this year, as every year.
During the promotion period, Sabancı University President Yusuf Leblebici, faculty deans, faculty members, students, and Sabancı graduates will inform university candidates at events that will take place every day with different topics and guests. During the promotion days, popular science presentations will be made and field trips will also be organized.
All candidates who visit Sabancı University and will choose a university in the coming period will have the opportunity to hear all the details about the faculties and departments directly from the presentations of faculty deans and faculty members.
During the promotion and preference period, candidates and their families will also be able to participate in campus tours by making an appointment.

Sabancı University President Yusuf Leblebici underlined that Sabancı University, despite all the unexpected and challenging conditions faced by our country and the world, has never compromised on the comprehensive breakthrough and transformation process that has been successfully carried out for the last 6 years, and that the university has further increased its assertiveness across the country and the world, and raised the bar even higher.
Leblebici said that candidates and families who will make their choice after the university exam will be able to access all the details about the school and the answers to their questions during the comprehensive and detailed promotion days. Yusuf Leblebici said that they managed to more than double the number of students they admitted from the top 1000 in 5 years, according to last year's university exam results. He continued: “More than 50% of our newly enrolled students come from the first 20 thousand, and more than 90% come from the first 100 thousand. It gives us happiness and pride to see the most successful students from all corners of Turkey in the ranks of Sabancı University every year. Knowing that our female student ratio has reached 40% increases our pride even more.”
With the freedom to choose a program, students can choose their faculties
The freedom to choose a program is one of the features that makes Sabancı University different. Sabancı University, which offers the freedom to choose a program, thus breaking new ground in Turkey, does not have academic departments in order to ensure that the usual department selection system does not hinder interdisciplinary interaction and does not cause premature and limited specialization in education.
Students who will study at the university, which has three faculties, namely the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and Sabancı Business School, make their choice based on not the "department" but the faculty in line with their university entrance exam results. They can decide on the program they really want to study after the Foundations Development Program courses they take in the first two years.
