Sabancı University Center of Excellence in Finance (CEF) 2025 Spring Term Certificate Program registrations are open. The training programs, to be delivered by academics who are experts in finance and accounting, will provide participants with in-depth information on valuation, financial analysis, and investment.
Valuation: Art, Science, or Magic?
The training, which will be given by Prof. Dr. Aswath Damodaran, Kerschner Family Chair in Finance at New York University Stern School of Business, will provide an in-depth look at valuation processes. The program, which will be held online on March 21-24-26-27, 2025, from 19:00 to 22:00, will be in English.
Accounting and Financial Analysis – Online on Zoom
The training, which will be given by Dr. İmran Emre Karagözlü, Group Treasury Manager at Coca-Cola, offers participants the opportunity to develop their skills in interpreting financial statements and understanding accounting records. The program, which will be held online on April 8-10-15-17, 2025, between 19:00 and 22:00, will be held in Turkish.
Fundamentals of Finance – Investments (Hybrid)
The training, which will be given by Sabancı University Finance Chair and CEF Founding Chair Prof. Dr. Özgür Demirtaş, will focus on investment processes and the basic principles of finance. The training will be held online (Zoom) on May 13-15-22, 2025 between 18:00 and 22:00 and physically on May 24, 2025, between 13:00 and 17:00 at Sabancı Center, 4. Levent.
CEF was founded by Sabancı University, which owns the prestigious AACSB accreditation and is listed by Times Higher Education as the top university in Turkey in its annual Young University Rankings, with the goal of constructing bridges between the academia, the finance sector, and the real sector.
