The design, tests, and production were completed at the High Energy Astrophysics Detector Laboratory with significant contributions (electronic design, mechanical design, software, and in-orbit background simulations) by undergraduate and graduate students. The detector, together with the satellite, will be able to monitor exciting astrophysical objects such as black holes and neutron stars.
