The SOCAR Energy School certificate program, at which lectures are given by world-renowned experts in the field of energy and academics from national and international universities, brought together participants from many different sectors, from public and private sector executives to members of the press. In the program where global and regional energy issues were addressed, lectures were given and panels were held on topics such as the energy policies of the Caspian Basin and Turkey and Azerbaijan, climate change and energy security, and the status and future of renewable energy resources. The third term of the program, which aims to provide participants with a 360-degree perspective covering different sub-fields of energy, is planned to be held in 2024.
