A record at 4700 meters: Graduate Yiğit Tekşen goes on an adventure on two wheels

Yiğit Tekşen, (Mechatronic Engineering 2012 and Energy Management Master’s 2014) has become the first Turkish national to cross the Pamir Trail, which runs at an elevation of 4700 meters between Iran and China, on a bicycle and in winter.

Yiğit spoke of his extraordinary experience to the Milliyet daily, talking about how he pedaled at -25 degree temperatures and reached China in 106.
