Küçükköy Creative Technologies Atelier and School of Languages Provide Online English Language Training Support to Students in Ayvalık and Ödemiş Birgi!

Sabancı University Küçükköy Creative Technologies Atelier, in collaboration with Sabancı University School of Languages, continues its program this year to improve the foreign language skills of middle and high school students in Ayvalık and Ödemiş Birgi.

Within the scope of the SENTRUM Project, implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye, the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), Enerjisa Enerji, and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), and supported by Sabancı University, online English language training has begun for middle and high school students in Ayvalık district of Balıkesir and Birgi, a town in Ödemiş district of İzmir.

The training program, covering the period from April to June 2026, aims to strengthen students' communication skills, improve their academic English levels, and contribute to their development as competitive individuals in the global world. The courses will be conducted by experienced instructors from Sabancı University School of Languages: Ahmed Elmahi, Andrew Bosson, Aybüke Filiz Gürer, Ayşe Güler Demirkır, Ceyla Gümüş, Deniz Çiçekoğlu, İrem Gedil, Kenneth Mark Fine, Michael John Thomas, Mine Gündüz Kartal, Mutlu Bosson, and Nesibe Bilgiç. 

Classes will be held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and each class will last one hour. Each online class is planned for approximately 20 students. This structure encourages active student participation, increases opportunities for individual feedback, and enhances the efficiency of the learning process.
