The final presentations of the Transcend Challenge program, implemented in collaboration with Sabancı University Career and Internship Office and Amazon, were held at our university. The process constituted the final stage of the program, which was previously launched at Amazon UAE and initially implemented in Türkiye specifically for Sabancı University students.
Our 6 finalist students presented their solution proposals for real-time business problems faced by the company today to the jury members from Amazon Dubai and Türkiye teams. The analytical perspectives and professional presentations of our students were appreciated by the jury.
As a result of the evaluation, our winning students are:
- Zeynep Uzun, Computer Science and Engineering
- Rasul Ahmad Barak, Computer Science and Engineering
- Ayşenur Gönül, Computer Science and Engineering
Our winning students have earned the right to intern at Amazon. The other finalist students were presented with participation certificates and Amazon-branded prizes.
The program not only offered a competition experience; our students had the opportunity to network one-on-one with Amazon executives, gaining valuable insights into the industry. This collaboration, managed by Sabancı University's Career and Internship Office, significantly contributed to our students gaining experience working on and solving a real business problem with a global company.
