Sabancı University BIO research assistant and doctoral student Cemile Uslu became one of the people honored with the Global Scholar-in-Training Award at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) annual meeting held in Chicago this year.

Fuat Keyman, Vice President of Sabancı University and Professor of International Relations, who passed away last October, was commemorated with an event held at Sabancı University Istanbul Policy Center (IPC) Minerva Han.

The international conference entitled “Crafting a New EU Social Contract Together” hosted by SU Gender within the scope of the EU Horizon Europe project Express 2 Specify and Protect the EU Social Contract (EXPRESS2), of which Sabancı University is among the partners, will take place at Minerva Han on May 28-29, 2025.

The Microfluidics-aided Technologies and Applications (MaTA) Conference was held in collaboration with the Chemical and Biological Microsystems Society (CBMS) on May 12-13, 2025 in Istanbul.  This conference explored the latest developments in microfluidics-aided Technologies and their diverse applications.

Sabancı University hosted the opening meeting of the Light-G-Comp (Lightweight, sustainable, and energy-efficient designs and production methods for upcycled Graphene reinforced hybrid Composites) project in Istanbul on May 5–7, 2025 with the participation of prominent academic and industrial stakeholders from Turkey and the Gulf region. The meeting was held at the Sabancı University Composite Technologies Center of Excellence.
