Education Reform Initiative Collaborates for Green Transformation in Education
The Education Reform Initiative is launching a new project focusing on green transformation and resilience in education in order to contribute to a sustainable future. The project, which will be carried out with the support of the British Council, in collaboration with the Institute for Social Innovation and Impact at the University of Northampton and Lancaster University, will continue for 18 months.

Dr. Ayşe Aldemir, Head of the Arts of the Book and Calligraphy Collection at Sabancı University Sakıp Sabancı Museum, has authored an article titled “Ottoman Tastemaker Robert-Sadia Pardo and a Sixteenth-Century Prayer Rug in The Met.” This scholarly work has been honored with inclusion in the 2024 edition of the MET Journal, the esteemed annual publication of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

The application deadline for the Sakıp Sabancı International Research Awards, which are organized according to the will of Sabancı University Chair President Sakıp Sabancı, has been extended. Applications for the award program, whose 2025 theme is “Realigning Values in a Transforming World Order: What Needs Preserving, Reevaluating, and Redefining?”, can be made by February 17, 2025.

As it does every year, Sakıp Sabancı Museum (SSM) invites children to a world full of creativity and fun with the workshops it organizes for the midterm break. The 2025 midterm break program offers rich content for children aged 5-12, from architecture to robotic coding, from the extraordinary works of German artist Georg Baselitz exhibited at SSM to the historical atmosphere of the Atlı Köşk and the museum’s Book Arts and Calligraphy Collection.
