Sabancı University ranked 68^th on the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings.

The Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2021 results have been announced. Sabancı University ranked 68^th among all 551 universities on the list, and had the highest position among 43 Turkish universities included in the rankings. As in previous years, Sabancı University maintained its top position among Turkish universities. 

Similar to the World Universities Ranking, the Asia University Rankings consider 13 different performance indicators. The performance indicators are grouped in 5 areas, namely teaching (the learning environment); research (volume, income and reputation); international outlook (staff, students and research); citations (research influence); industry income (knowledge transfer). 

The other Turkish universities on the Asian University Rankings and their positions are: Koç University 73^rd, Çankaya University 80^th, Hacettepe University 125^th, Bilkent University 129^th, ITU 163^rd, and Boğaziçi University 167^th.

The top three Asian universities are Tsinghua University, Peking University (both in China), and The National University of Singapore.
