The second term of the SOCAR Energy School certificate program, which was implemented in collaboration with Sabancı University Executive Development Unit, EDU, and Turkey’s largest integrated industry group SOCAR Turkey, has been completed. Participants who successfully completed the nine-week program received their certificates at a ceremony. The certificates were presented to the participants by our University’s Vice President for Education Cem Güneri and SOCAR Turkey’s acting CEO Elchin Ibadov.

The fourth Data Science and Analytics Seminar Series at Sabancı University was held with a presentation entitled 'From Code to Canvas: The Aesthetics of Technological Art' by Sabancı University Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Faculty Member Selçuk Artut.

The Dicle Koğacıoğlu Article Award Conference, which will be held for the fifteenth time this year in memory of sociologist Dicle Koğacıoğlu, will be held on Saturday, December 7th between 17:00 and 18:30 within the scope of the 2nd International Conference on Gender Studies in Turkey.

The “Business Analytics Workshop 2024” organized by Sabancı Business School every two years was held on November 29, 2024, at the Sabancı University Performing Arts Center.

Sabancı University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Materials Science and Nano Engineering Program Postdoctoral Researcher Dr. Ahmet Güngör’s project entitled “From Waste Disposable Face Masks to Activated Carbon: Synthesis of Polypyrrole-Activated Carbon (PPy-AC) Composite Electrodes and Supercapacitor Application” will be supported within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 3501 Career Development Program.

Times Higher Education (THE) has announced the first-ever THE Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2025. Sabancı University ranked 64th among 749 world universities with its interdisciplinary scientific approach, and 2nd among 45 universities from Turkey included in the ranking.

The “Gender Equality in Education Award Ceremony” was organized within the Purple Certificate Program supported by the Sabancı Foundation and carried out by Sabancı University Gender and Women's Studies Center of Excellence (SU Gender).
