Sabancı University (SU) and Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) have signed an agreement for academic collaboration starting in Fall 2024.

Sabancı University's Öznur Taştan, from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, has been appointed as one of the Associate Editors of the IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. Associate editors oversee the peer review process.
