Sabancı University Executive Development Unit – EDU started a new training program with its learning partner, Akçansa.

The launch meeting of the Akçansa Bosses Program took place on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. 16 Akçansa dealers will join the 4-month program. 

Industrial Engineering 4th year student Bengüsu Özcan's second book Antika Adam was published by Pena Yayınları on September 6, 2016!

Antika Adam [Ancient Man] is the story of Koray, who is cryogenically preserved into the future as a responsible young man, and his ordeals in the new world where he finds himself. It is a gripping story of time travel gone awry.

Our President, esteemed scientist Prof. Dr. Nihat Berker has resigned from his duties at his own request effective October 19th. We respect his decision and thank him for his contributions to our university. 

We also wish success in his career.

Prof. Dr. Ayse Kadioglu, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, who has been working with us since the first Search Conference, since the days of foundation of our university, has been appointed Acting President. 

We wish her succes in this task as well.

Prof. Dr. Ayşe Kadıoğlu, Faculty Member of Arts and Social Sciences will be on duty as the Acting President.

Academic Support Program is pleased to announce ASP Subject-Based Discussions Tentative Schedule for 2016-2017 Fall Term.

We will be competing in the 38^th Istanbul Marathon on Sunday, November 13^th for the benefit of the SU Scholarship Fund to help successful students in financial need.

We call for all Sabancı University community and friends to support – whether or not they compete! 

Times Higher Education (THE) reveals 2015-2016 World University Rankings. Sabancı University was the 2nd best Turkish university among 1313 universities from 79 countries, and ascended from the top 351-400 to the top 301-350, becoming the only Turkish university to improve its standing over the previous year. 

Academic Orientation Program of the new academic year has been organised on September 5th and 19th, 2016, on two days to welcome new faculty members.

Nihat Berker, Haluk Bal, Sondan Durukanoğlu Feyiz and Deans have participated in the program, where information necessary for the first days at SU were shared and faculty members had the chance to meet with different units of the university.
