Sabancı University Drama Club members will go on a tour of Anatolia with their new children’s play “Düşler Bahçesi – The Garden of Dreams.”  Bringing together civic involvement with theater, the ensemble will perform for children in Kayseri, Adana and Hatay who have never seen a play before.

2011 Serhat Özyar Young Scientist of the Year

The 9th annual "Serhat Özyar Young Scientist of the Year" award for 2011 will be given jointly by the Science and Utopia Cooperation, METU Faculty Member Association and Chamber of Electric Engineers. All applicants must meet the following criteria: have completed her/his PhD in Turkey after January 01, 2010 and before the application date; made an important contribution by creating a solution(s) for a fundamental problem(s) in the country's science agenda; not a previous candidate for the reward. The winning scientist will receive a 3000 TL cash reward.

VAVCD student Gizem Acarla was at the Polish Museum of America exhibition

Sabanci UniversityVAVCD student, Gizem Acarla  was at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts in Spring 2009 as a participant at the Socrates Exchange Program.

She was chosen for this exhibition by Prof. Piotr Kunze with other 51 talented and award wining students from all Polish institutions in 2010.

The exhibition was held from 16th April up to 16th May 2010 under the patronage of Richard M. Daley, Mayor ofChicago.

Have you noticed the yellow strips on UC doors?

People with vision loss have difficulty in differentiating colors that do not contrast. These yellow strips pasted on dark glass provide a contrast easily perceived by everyone. We've started this application in the University Center, our University's most frequently visited building, and it will be extended to other buildings. We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to University Operations Unit for the implementation.

Winners of the Mevhibe Ateş Undergraduate Graphic Design Poster Contest held by the Sabancı University FASS received their awards yesterday.

This year’s theme was Freedom of Faith, and winners received their prizes from President Nihat Berker, Dean of FASS Mehmet Baç, and Mevhibe Ateş.
