Dr Deniz Kurtoğlu Eken, Director of School of Languages of our University, has been invited as a plenary speaker to IATEFL UK Annual Conference, most prestigious conference in the field of ELT, organized annually by the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL), which was established in 1967 and has around 4000 members. The upcoming conference will be held in Liverpool on April 8-12, 2013. 

Our Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences faculty members Ersin Göğüş and Ali Koşar have been awarded by the FABED Scientific Board with Outstanding Achievement Award.

Sabancı University has 602 new graduates in the 2011-2012 academic year

Sabancı University will be seeing off its 13th undergraduate and 10th graduate classes at the commencement ceremony to be held on Saturday, June 23rd, 2012.

As a signature event in commencement activities, a Closing Lecture will be given to the commencement class on the day before the ceremony.  This year’s closing lecture will take place on Friday, June 22nd, and will be given by Şafak Pavey, Deputy of Istanbul of the Republican People’s Party.
