The second Work in Progress event organized by Sabancı University IEEE Student Branch with the theme of Nexus was held on Sunday, October 13 at Sabancı Performing Arts Center.

Works of Murat Germen, member of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, can be seen in Istanbul and abroad with projects in which he takes part both as a curator and as an author.

FASS/VAVCD faculty member Yoong Wah Alex Wong, visited Shenyang City University, China. He shared his visual works and delivered a talk, “Vanishing White: The Aesthetics of Climate Change.”

The second guest of the seminar series emphasizing Sabancı University’s new undergraduate program “Data Science and Analytics” and the interdisciplinary qualities of the program will be Uğur Candan, Managing Director of SAP Turkey.

The World Bank IMF Turkey Staff Association (WITSA) organized a panel in the US on "Post-Election Turkey in a Changing Global World." On January 18, 2024, the panel was moderated by WITSA Governance Global Practice Manager Serdar Yılmaz, and featured Sabancı University Vice President and Istanbul Policy Center Director Fuat Keyman and Mercator-IPM Advisory Council Member Atila Eralp as speakers.

SU Gender is starting a new event series called Discussions on Body and Health from a Gender Perspective. This series aims to cover various issues related to body and health from a gender perspective and to raise awareness about unknown or unquestioned aspects.

The Ph.D. in Management Program at Sabancı Graduate Business School is primarily intended for candidates who aspire to a career in academia!  It is a full-time program and all Ph.D. students are accepted with a scholarship.

Sabancı University was selected as one of the five official pilot centers for the Global Curriculum for Anticipatory Leadership (GCAL) initiative launched on October 11, 2024, as part of the Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipation (GESDA) Summit.
