Sabancı University FENS and EFSUN Researcher Ali Sadaghiani’s proceeding titled " Computational and Experimental Studies on HEF 7100 Two-Phase Spray Cooling " and co-authored by  FENS faculty member and EFSUN researcher Ali Koşar, FENS Ph.D. student Behnam Parizad Benam, Aselsan engineers Osman Akdağ and Samet Saygan,  is one of the Best Paper Award recipients in the 9th International Conference on Multiphase Flow and Heat Transfer 2024 held in London.

The late Sakıp Sabancı, Honorary Chair of Sabancı University and philanthropic businessperson, was commemorated with a special ceremony on the 20th anniversary of his passing. The commemoration ceremony held at the Sabancı Center was attended by Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, representatives from academia, the worlds of business, art, and media, the Sabancı Family, and Koç Holding Honorary Chair Rahmi Koç, along with many of Sakıp Sabancı’s friends, and other guests.
