A ceremony will be held on Wednesday, March 13, to commemorate Durmuş Ali Demir, a valuable member of our Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, who passed away on February 24, 2024. The ceremony is open to all Sabancı University Members.  

Meltem Muftuler-Bac, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences attended the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, with two of her current students, Sena Turkdogan, PhD in Political Science, and Sinem Tastan, MA in Political Science.

Öykü Arkan Tunç, member of Sabancı Business School, was entitled to receive the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowship, one of the most important programs offered by the European Union for postdoctoral studies, with her project titled "Developing a Culture of Whistleblowing and Empirical Examination of Whistleblowing Mechanisms". 

Organized annually by the Industrial Engineering Society (IES) of Sabancı University, one of our university's most comprehensive career events, the IMIS'24 (International Management and Industrial Engineering Summit), will take place with the theme of Harmony on March 9-10, 2024, at the Sabancı University Performing Arts Center (SGM), free of charge!

At the beginning of the spring semester, international exchange students at Sabancı University met with the faculty deans on campus.

Senem Aydın-Düzgit was invited to the 'Pierre Keller Visiting Professorship in European Studies' Chair at Harvard University

Starting his professional life at the Ministry of Finance, Mr. Aydın Günter transferred the rich experience he gained over many years in business life to our University by serving on our Board of Trustees between the years 2014 and 2023 Mr. Günter, who took on duties in the financial management of Sabancı Holding between 1985 and 94, worked as a management consultant and board member after 1998. We extend our condolences to his family and loved ones.

Representatives of Sabancı University International Relations Office came together with Mr. Ömür Menteş (President Director) and Mr. Wahyu Yuniarto (Human Resources and IT Director) of Indo KordSA in Jakarta.

TÜBİTAK President Hasan Mandal was the new guest of the "Dean's Speaker Series" event held regularly by Sabancı University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences.
