The IICEC Conference, organized by Sabancı University Istanbul International Center for Energy and Climate (IICEC), was attended by the Minister of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Turkey Mehmet Şimşek as the guest of honor this year. Minister Şimşek made a presentation on global economic growth and Turkish economic policies at the conference held with the theme of 'Economic Growth and Energy: Shaping the Economy of the Future'. Şimşek said, "Turkey will achieve a more efficient and competitive economy through global integration, structural transformation, and inflation."

The seventh of the “From Farm to Table: Food, Culture, and Politics Talks” series organized by Sabancı University Istanbul Policy Center was held on December 17 at IPC Karaköy Minerva Han.

The first two meetings of the Sabancı University "DIMAP Funding Mechanisms Information and Networking Days" event series were held on December 17, 2024 at the Radisson Blue Hotel Ataşehir and on December 18, 2024 at the Hilton Maslak.

Applications submitted by Sabancı University faculty members have been accepted into three prestigious academic programs approved by the Academic Council of the Venice International University (VIU) where Sabancı University became member recently. During the meeting held on November 8, 2024, two Graduate Seminars and one PhD Academy application were approved.
