Sabancı University hosted Ece Kamar, a Partner Research Area Manager at Microsoft Research and a Sabancı University graduate, at the seminar titled "Phase Transition in Artificial Intelligence". Ece Kamar, who carries out important work in the field of artificial intelligence at Microsoft, shared the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence technologies and the risks in this field at the meeting held at the Sabancı University Sakıp Sabancı Museum.

Sabancı University's 21st undergraduate and 24th graduate commencement ceremony was held on the University's Tuzla campus. Founding Chair of the Sabancı University Board of Trustees, Güler Sabancı, Sabancı University President, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Leblebici, and faculty members attended the ceremony in which 1008 students graduated from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and Sabancı Business School.
